VP/General Manager of Metromont’s Georgia operations Tony Smith knows what it means to work your way to the top. Tony began his career with Metromont 31 years ago at the Greenville, SC corporate headquarters as a “print boy.” His wife, Dena, worked for the medical practice that handled the Metromont associate physicals and was asked if she knew anyone in need of a job. As luck would have it, Tony needed a job! Over the course of his career with Metromont, Tony’s roles have included print boy, drafter, AutoCAD, Estimator, Chief Estimator, Sales and Business Development, VP of Preconstruction and Marketing, VP/Assistant GM of Georgia, and most recently, VP/General Manager of Metromont’s Georgia operations. “What I enjoy most about my career with Metromont are the people I get to work with every day – the associates as well as our customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.”
