VP of Preconstruction Tony Smith knows what it means to work your way to the top. Tony began his career with Metromont nearly 35 years ago at the Greenville, SC corporate headquarters as a “print boy.” His wife, Dena, worked for the medical practice that handled Metromont’s associate physicals and was asked if she knew anyone in need of a job. As luck would have it, Tony needed a job! Over the course of his career with Metromont, Tony’s roles have included print boy, drafter, AutoCAD, Estimator, Chief Estimator, Sales and Business Development, VP of Preconstruction and Marketing, VP/General Manager of Metromont’s Georgia operations, VP, Market Development, and most recently, VP of Preconstruction.
