Metromont is pleased to announce the acquisition of Florida and Alabama-based engineering firm PTAC Engineering, LLC from PTAC Companies, effective October 5, 2026. The company’s offices in Pensacola and Tampa, Florida; and Daphne and Monroeville, Alabama, will now operate as part of Metromont.
The relationship between Metromont and PTAC Engineering encompasses more than 25 years of innovation and excellence in the design and engineering of hundreds of Metromont’s precast concrete projects, including the Cascades Tallahassee Mixed-Use Development, Seminole County Justice Center, Clearwater Fire Station 45, and USC Student Housing Parking Deck. The acquisition of PTAC Engineering provides the opportunity for Metromont to further expand and strengthen its design and engineering capabilities with a trusted partner who, like Metromont, is committed to providing exceptional precast concrete solutions across a variety of market sectors.
