Matt Cooper is the Director of Engineering at Metromont’s Winchester, VA office. He’s been a member of the Metromont family for 20 years and says the company’s core value of Passion resonates deeply with him. “To me, passion is realizing that you matter. Q: Being a part of the Metromont family for 20 years is remarkable! How has that journey been?

A: Being a part of the Metromont family for 20 years has been nothing short of remarkable. "It’s been a great journey," I reflect. "There have been ups and downs, but even in the tough times, I've learned. I’ve become more open about my wins and losses, and that has helped me grow. The Metromont culture has played a huge role in that. Through it all, Metromont has been right there with me. We celebrate our successes, but we also learn from our shortcomings and share our experiences. It's a culture of growth and support."

Q: Is there anyone you would like to thank at Metromont who has impacted your life?

A: When I think about those who’ve impacted my life here, one person stands out—Chris Pastorious. "I want to thank Chris for pushing me every single day. He has a way of encouraging me to strive for greatness, and for that, I’m truly grateful. He’s been a driving force in helping me reach my potential."
