Project Overview

Located in the Gillem Logistics Center in Forest Park, Georgia, the new Gillem Public Safety Building was unveiled by the City of Forest Park last spring.

The $8.3 million, 15,000 SF total precast structure is a mixed-use building that includes a fire station, police precinct substation, conference room for public safety personnel, sleeping quarters, high-end kitchen, and a fitness center.

Metromont’s Hiram team produced 12,517 SF of precast concrete for the project (113 pieces), including factory-topped roof double tees and 9″ thick insulated precast wall panels with an architectural face mix, brick formliner, and sandblast finish.
