Located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, the University of South Florida (USF) Student Housing Facility will feature 375 beds that include 1-,2-,3-, and 4-bedroom units and a dining hall that seats 225 students.
The new six story total precast project will utilize Metromont’s proprietary MetroDeck total precast roof and floor system. Metromont’s Bartow, Florida, manufacturing facility produced 124,000 SF of precast concrete for the project. The exterior walls are insulated load-bearing panels with integral colored concrete, sandblast finish, reveals, recesses, and thin-set brick.
Total precast was selected as a system of choice for its low maintenance cost, speed of construction, and versatility.
