Built-in 2020, the FirstHealth Parking Garage provides parking for patients, visitors, and staff at the hospital in Pinehurst, NC. The garage has two elevated levels of precast concrete and gives the hospital approximately 300 new parking spaces with floor-to-floor access. Metromont’s Greenville and Spartanburg manufacturing facilities produced 68,521 SF of precast concrete for this project.
The façade features multiple finishes and architectural details which enable the parking garage to blend seamlessly with the adjacent office building, almost appearing as a continuation. A combination of cast-in thin brick and a beige architectural mix with a medium sandblast finish make up the majority of the exterior. A decorative, metal screen etched with an image of trees and branches adds interest to the garage’s entryway while a block-shaped formliner wraps the corner stairway and elevator tower.
