The Research Triangle is one of the fastest-growing developments in North Carolina and is the largest research park in the United States. Located within RTP, the Parmer campus only makes up a fraction of the development, but it plays a significant role in introducing research companies into the area. The new Parmer RTP parking garage serves as part of the campus’ development and expansion.
The Parmer RTP Parking Garage II has five elevated levels of precast concrete and 777 new parking spaces for employees, clients, and visitors. The bold, exposed gray concrete exterior complements the other buildings on the campus nearby, such as the gym and open courtyard.
Metromont’s Spartanburg and Greenville manufacturing facilities produced approximately 203,000 SF of precast concrete for the project. Precast erection for Parmer RTP Parking Garage II started in June 2021 and ended in September 2021.
