Located on South Hull Street in Athens, GA, UGA’s new Hull Street parking deck expansion is part of the university’s recent efforts to improve the on-campus parking experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to UGA. Metromont’s Hiram, GA team produced the original Hull Street parking deck in 2004, providing 900 spaces of much-needed parking for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the university.
The recently opened expansion, part of Transportation & Parking Services’ ongoing strategies to increase parking availability, provides an additional 400 spaces.
The five-level, 88,035 SF precast concrete expansion was completed by Metromont’s Hiram team and features a gray structural and architectural concrete mix with moderate sandblast finish and cast-in thin brick to match the original Hull Street parking deck.
